Vacation Final Day Update

We drove into the dark for the first time on this trip, coinciding nicely with the "longest lunal eclipse of the century," apparently. We did note the particularly beautiful full moon as it rose and did not connect the eclipse fact until this morning. We camped last night; very successfully setting up the tent in the light of a very eclipsed full moon at the San Luis Reservoir camp grounds. We even bought firewood (#lit). Now we find ourselves feed, caffeinated, and somewhere west of Bakersfield traveling at either 50mph or 80mph, because no one likes to split the difference. Our next (and final) stop is our favorite mountain town pizza place near Frazier Park, California, where we will enjoy a delightful cream cheese stuffed crust pizza with marinara dipping sauce... Then we unpack the car at home and take showers and settle in for our last day off tomorrow (also known as laundry day) before getting back to work. Favorite Roadside Signs: "A Taco A Day... Keeps
