Start Of Day Three

Tenting was a success!

Day two consisted of an amazing drive along some coastal cliffs in northern California as we killed time waiting for the Russian River Brewing Company in Santa Rosa, California to open so we could make a lunch stop there and pick up some Pliny the Elder for friends back home, because we are cool like that.

First glimpse of Shasta

After lunch we drove under the looming shadows of smoke from a large fire and the beautiful snow capped Mt. Shasta on to our campsite at Emigrant Lake in southern Oregon. Other than the intense smoke from the fires, a stubbed toe, and pillow shortage, the camping experience was a success!

Now, we've packed up the tent, made our way to Medford to grab some non-coroprate coffee, and we are pointing north for Seattle.
